This is something that Mike and I have thought a lot about.  We plan to stock up on pain killers and other medical supplies, but feel it will be a good idea to have alternative medical supplies on hand as well.  Including seeds for medicinal plants.  I am part of a holistic group on fb and someone decided to put together emergency medical kits with alternative remedies ( since we most likely won't have access to regular meds in a disaster).
